Modeling and Simulation

mathematic_4532526-150pAtmospheric Dispersion Modeling

Sage Management is a leader in modeling the airborne transport and dispersion of toxic materials and air pollutants.

Located in Princeton, NJ and led by Dr. Ian Sykes, the Environmental Sciences group of Sage Management is the developer of the SCIPUFF (Second-order Closure Integrated Puff) dispersion model.

One of the premier dispersion models with broad capability for modeling the transport of hazardous materials, SCIPUFF is used in major DoD programs for Consequence Analysis, namely HPAC and JEM.

SCIPUFF is also used in Air Quality modeling programs where reactive chemistry is important.

SCIPUFF is one of the Alternative Models that can be used for EPA regulatory applications on a case by case basis.
