Weapons of Mass Destruction Defense Professionals
Duties: Provide technical advisory and research services addressing the threat posed to US national security interests by the proliferation of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) weapons technologies. Particular emphasis is on the use of computational and analytical tools for predicting CBRN environments as well as the effects on personnel, structures and equipment as well as contamination consequences. Large high explosive threats also addressed. SAGE Management is building a team of WMD professionals covering a broad range of technical disciplines to provide a comprehensive advisory and research capability to the US federal government as well as state and local first responders and emergency management personnel.
Requirements: Pertinent technical degrees are highly desirable to include the fields of engineering, physics, atmospheric sciences, medical and veterinary sciences, microbiology and mathematics. Military or civil emergency management experience pertinent to managing CBRN consequences a plus. Experience and/or credentials for technical training also sought. Hands-on experience with one or more CBRNE computational/analytic tools, typically developed under the sponsorship of the US DoD or DoE, is highly desirable.
