Database Engineer
Professional Experience: Shall have five (5) to ten (10) years experience in developing relational database software and experience with one or more relational database products. Have understanding of the current and future database management system releases. Database engineering and architecture skills are required. Data modeling for physical as well as logical models is required. Ability to document processes is required. Possess organizational and management skills, along with the ability to respond to crises objectively, is required. Ability to evaluate project needs and allocate resources is required. Understanding of OS platforms and knowledge in programming language is required. Procedural language (PL/SQL) knowledge and experience is required. Strong knowledge of Oracle - able to architect Oracle based solutions, not just perfom database administration.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Resource Description Framework (RDF), SPARQL, Jena; Experience writing software using JEE; Experience with TimesTen, or other in-memory database solutions.
