About Sage ManagementQuality, Streamlined Professional Support ServicesSage was founded in 2004 by two entrepreneurs who wanted to offer their clients quality, streamlined services without the hassles associated with larger corporations. Our founders, and all of Sage, pride themselves on their integrity and professionalism in providing quality service to our clients. In 2007, Sage expanded its Leadership Team to better serve its client base. Read about our Leadership Team below. W. Andrew Glasscock - Co-Founder and Managing Partner. Co-founder of Sage Management, Mr. Glasscock has worked in a variety of Program Management and Engineering positions in both private industry and the Government. Mr. Glasscock has over 18 years in the US Air Force as an Acquisition Officer and Test Engineer, providing expert engineering review on numerous high-profile US Air Force systems, including the Airborne Laser. Mr. Glasscock holds both a BS and MS in Engineering Disciplines, along with DAWIA certifications, including Level III Program Management, Test Management and Systems Engineering. Mr. Glasscock is graduate of the Defense Acquisition University and an Officer in the US Air Force Reserve. Sean P. Keller - Co-Founder and Managing Partner. Prior to co-founding Sage Management, Mr. Keller was employed in the Defense Industry by numerous large and small corporations in both technical and managerial positions. Mr. Keller serves on the Adjunct Faculty at The Johns Hopkins University where he provides instruction on the Business aspects of integrating information technology into large and small organizations. Mr. Keller received his BA from the University of Maryland at College Park and his MS from The Johns Hopkins University. He has completed studies at the doctoral level in Engineering Management at The George Washington University. Mr. Keller is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and graduate of the Defense Acquisition University. Mr. Keller served as an Intelligence Officer in the US Air Force Reserve and served on active duty in the US Navy. He retired from the Air Force Reserve in 2005. Jim P. Withington, PhD - Partner and Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Sage Management, Dr. Withington accumulated over 15 years of experience in Engineering and Management including Senior Positions as Business Manager, Program Director, Lead Architect, Researcher and University Administrator. Dr Withington's experience includes work in Government, Aerospace, Education and Scientific Research sectors. Most recently, Dr. Withington was employed with L3 Communications - Titan Group as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Dr. Withington has also held positions with IBM, NASA and as Dean, School of Engineering and Professor of Engineering and Airway Sciences Inter American University in Puerto Rico. Dr. Withington earned his BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University, a MS in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, and his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Peter Ward - Managing Partner. Mr. Ward brings to Sage his vast leadership experience, having served in numerous Executive Positions within the Defense Intelligence Community. His most recent position was General Manager with the Essex Corporation until their recent acquisition by Northrop Grumman. Prior to that, Mr. Ward was a Group President and General Manager with the Titan Corporation where he built a small operation into a multi-million dollar business unit. Before entering the Intelligence Community, Mr. Ward was involved with numerous scientific positions to include Space Systems. Mr. Ward, a native New Yorker, earned his BS in Mathematics from the Hillsdale College. A. Anton 'Tony' Frederickson - Managing Partner. Starting in the defense research and development world and culminating as the chief executive of a top-10 defense services business, Mr. Frederickson is a 26-year industry veteran in a career characterized by technical achievements in support of the national security, ever-increasing executive responsibilities and a record of sustained high growth of his businesses. Before joining Sage, Mr. Frederickson was the Chief Executive of the L-3 Titan Group and formerly the President of Titan’s Applied Technology Sector. With the U.S. government’s Defense Nuclear Agency, Mr. Frederickson served as Chief, Special Projects Division wherein he was instrumental in redirecting the focus of that agency's programs to better address post cold war national security issues. Mr. Frederickson's expertise spans the entire length of Ballistic Missile Defense and the defeat of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Mr. Frederickson is a National Security Program graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He holds a MS in Applied Mechanics as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering earned at the University of California, Los Angeles. Steven R. Max - Vice President, Western Region. Mr. Max’s background spans over 20 years of experience in a broad spectrum of areas to include: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) operations and systems; joint interoperability; testing; information technology; leadership, management and team building; resource management; DoD acquisition; training; and combat development. After serving as an Army Military Intelligence Officer, he integrated his operational background into DoD contracting and has been working in the Sierra Vista/Ft. Huachuca Arizona area in various Army and Joint C4I positions since 1998. Mr. Max earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geology/Russian from West Virginia University and continued his graduate studies in Psychology/ Statistics at Rutgers University.
